Behind the Camera
Hi! I’m Larissa, a photographer born and raised in Abbotsford, BC.
I picked up my first camera at 16, initially drawn to wildlife, landscapes, and outdoor adventure. Over time, friends, coworkers, and family began asking me to photograph their portraits, couples, and events. What started as a hobby naturally grew into meeting new people, working with incredible clients, and building a photography business within my community.
Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with more than just taking photos. I love getting to know people, making them feel comfortable in front of the camera, and capturing the moments that matter to them.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to photograph hundreds of people and countless special moments. I still spend lots of time working in the outdoor industry with adventure brands and tourism companies. I’m incredibly grateful that something I started doing at 16 has grown into work I genuinely love.
I love to travel
As someone who has a very adventurous personality, I spend lots of time exploring the outdoors (with my camera of course). I've been fortunate enough to travel to some pretty cool places like Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, Portugal, and all over British Columbia.
My Camp Set Up
I grew up 4x4ing with my Dad and learned how to drive off-road. I am a Marketing Manager for Roamify Campers and I get to take the Bronco and camp set up everywhere. It's become my favourite hobby
My Coffee Order
I am a HUGE coffee lover. My go to order currently is an iced brown sugar shaken espresso or a basic iced vanilla latte. I've been spending lots of my time editing at Smoking Gun Coffee.
